These little ones are starting to be on the go and looking for fun everywhere! Come join this group full of movement, play, and exploration. So many transitions happen and the growth during each session (for babies and parents) is amazing to see!
Join us for this small group experience led by Stacia Paganelli (Speech Pathologist) and Sonya Smith (Physical Therapist). Learn all about movement, sensory development, and next steps for your older baby! This class is all about moving, playing, learning, and supporting the many transitions in this age range.
Learn
Older babies are learning new skills so quickly! Life starts changing as your baby really starts to show their personality, becomes more engaging, and learns to move! We still start each class with a check in and talk about the ups and downs of new parenting and have a planned curriculum, but model “going with the flow” and meeting the needs of both the babies and parents.
Play
Content covered in this class includes:
Positions for play
Types of play expected
Encouraging downtime
Sensory stimulation
Daily routines
Creating a learning environment
Grow
As you make it through the end of your baby’s first year, you’ll see them change and become their very own person! Moving independently, learning that they are separate from you, and a new found motivation to play and interact with people and toys. This is also a time for growth for you as a parent, as you’ve survived the early months and are learning more about who you are as a parent and what’s most important. We’ll talk about all of this!
