The very beginning of your parenting journey is such a great time to find connection, support from other parents, and learn more about infant development now that you’re baby is here! Come as you are and grow with us!

Join us for this small group experience led by Stacia Paganelli (Speech Pathologist) and Sonya Smith (Physical Therapist). Share your parenting challenges and celebrate the joys, all while learning about infant development, your baby, how you’re growing and changing as a parent, and activities to do with your baby while you’re at home. Have all of your questions answered by developmental specialists AND other new parents.

Connect

Building relationships is critical for your child and for you. We start each class with a check in and talk about the ups and downs of new parenting. While there is a general curriculum for each class of the session, topics and conversation differ based on the needs of the group.

Learn

Content covered in this class includes:

  • Supporting tummy time

  • Positioning & baby wearing

  • Nurturing touch & co-regulation

  • Developmental stimulation

  • Self-care for parents

Play

What does play look like for babies? What types of toys are appropriate? We’ll cover these topics, encourage you to think about what type of “play” YOU need right now, and introduce you and your baby to a variety of developmentally-appropriate play ideas.

Parent Testimonial:

"Every week it was truly the best part of my week. I always looked forward to it. Both Stacia and Sonya made our class feel like “home”. The fact that it was always an open discussion, but one with purpose. It was the first time since becoming a mom that i truly felt ‘normal’ with all of the ups and downs parenthood has."
